Tuesday 7th April – Cagliari (Shopping)

This morning the wind had increased and gone right around to the south-east as forecast, and by early afternoon was blowing quite hard.

Late morning we helped Lynne on Moya as she needed to take her boat around to the lifting dock as the boat needed to be lifted for the day for an inspection of the underside.

We then did a big trip to the supermarket to finish stocking up, taking one of the marina cars instead of the bus for the bulky, heavy items.  Definitely starting to drive Italian style now J

Whilst we were out our neighbour decided to take his boat out despite the strong winds;  from what we have heard, we are pleased that we were the upwind boat when he was trying to manoeuvre in and out from his berth.

Late afternoon we helped Lynne return Moya to her berth; the berth is in a tight spot but there were many pairs of hands to help and everything went well.

This evening, having managed to stow all the shopping, we have enjoyed a quiet dinner aboard.  Late this evening Richard popped up to the gazebo to catch up on the latest news.
