This morning the weather was fine and we started cleaning and tidying Pyxis after our spell in the boatyard.

The decks were very dirty from the dust in the yard and Richard gave them an initial rinse off whilst I went off for provisions; as he started cleaning he could hear thunder in the distance and saw black clouds looming and so hastily put up the cockpit enclosure before continuing.

When I returned I took on the mammoth washing up session that was needed before we could have lunch and whilst we had lunch the weather turned really wet and put paid to outside jobs.

We did some tidying down below and then late afternoon when the sun returned, we took some beers up to the boatyard to take a break with Tyfon and Nereus.  This evening Richard has continued sorting and stowing the various tools, overalls and paint we have been using whilst I cooked dinner.

Tired, we have had a quiet night in.
