Guess what – today was windy, as forecast.  Looking over the wall, I’m still glad we are in the marina at the moment.  However, the sun was out and we had a quiet day pottering about the boat.  We subscribed to a day of internet access so we were able to do some administration, make some Skype calls, send some emails, etc. and even do a bit of surfing to catch up with news (and, of course, weather forecasts).

I have hired a car for tomorrow so that we can take a tour of the Asturias region – the Pico Europa are behind us and we hope to drive up to them and visit some local sites of interest.  Also, this area is famous for its many local cheeses (as well as its cider) so I hope to pick some up on our way round.  I had help arranging this from the extremely friendly and helpful staff here at the marina – they really are great.
