Saturday 20^th December – Cagliari (Shopping and pizza)

The weather is still fine and bright though the northerly wind is a little cold.

Today we continued the P’s initiation into life in Cagliari by taking them out to do some Christmas shopping at one of the big hypermarkets and shopping centres by bus.  Unfortunately we weren’t able to get a couple of the things we had gone up there for but nevertheless trolley came back fully laden.

This evening we took the P’s up the hill to the nearby pizza restaurant.  They now appreciate that Italian pizzas are very good but very big – the restaurant have put the rest of their pizza in a take-away box so they can finish it for lunch tomorrow J

They have also realised that going everywhere involves a walk and will be pleased to have their car back.

We stopped at the marina bar on the way back to the boat and chatted to some of the locals.
