Friday 19^th December – Cagliari

We were really pleased to see an improvement in the weather this morning; the sun was shining and it was quite warm.  We were up and out quite promptly to visit the large indoor market; it gave the P’s their first experience of bus travel in Cagliari.

The market was up to its usual standard and we came back for lunch loaded up with fresh fruit and vegetables and some local wine.

After lunch we walked the P’s up to the Christmas fair in the nearby Fiera.  After spending the afternoon looking at the local handicrafts and sampling and buying local produce we came back for dinner and an early night.
