Thursday 27th November – Cagliari (Now the South-East Wind doth blow)

39:12.064N 9:07.510E

Today started off reasonably quiet but by lunchtime the wind was starting to build and it was getting very grey (the wind has become bored; so it has changed direction 180 degrees and is now coming in from the south-east).  We abandoned our plan to wander down to the supermarket.

Richard did the last bit of tidying of the satellite cable in the back lazerette and then re-stowed everything in the big aft lazerette, managing to fit in the generator which we had stowed under the table in the saloon.  It suddenly feels like we have some space on board.

By early evening the forecast wind was howling through the marina and it was becoming risky to attempt the passarelle to shore, so we stayed on board and had a night in – don’t think we’ll be sleeping much tonight.
