Late morning we set off to find the large indoor market at Piazza San Rocco.  It was quite a long hike and the day was very hot.  Still we found it and the produce was very good.

We took a slightly different way back which took us past a few of the churches and a cultural centre marked on our tourist map.  The cultural centre, the Exmà, apparently used to be the city abattoir until the new one was built in the mid sixties but it certainly didn’t look like one any more.

In the evening we went out for pizza with Cape and Wandering Dragon.  Unfortunately having walked up the hill to the intended pizzeria we discovered it was shut, so we walked back down to the floating pizzeria by the marina.  This was very busy due to the nearby Oktoberfest (beer festival) but we managed to get a table provided we were quick. 

Afterwards we had a quick drink at the gazebo before turning in.
