After the drama of yesterday, this morning was quiet and peaceful; we had a good nights’ sleep and awoke refreshed and had an early breakfast.

We took the dinghy out and the water was so clear that we could see the whole way to the sea floor, some 8 metres.  This allowed us to trace our anchor chain to the anchor and check that all was still OK.  The anchor is still buried in the sand but we do think it has moved a bit from its original position.

We had a productive day; Richard changed the oil on the generator, its first change, due after 10 hours of running.  On a roll, he then serviced the engine; this involved changing the impellor, changing the oil and the fan belt.  Meanwhile I was on hand with the kitchen roll and on mo-bo arrival watch.

This evening Richard popped to the supermarket whilst I kept an eye on the motor boats that had arrived today and parked close by – it was really busy.  Once I felt it was time for the motor boats to head off home I started the generator by way on encouragementJ  It worked a treat and also meant I could heat up the water for showers and washing up.
