We have spent a beautiful day at anchor in this delightful bay.  We relaxed on board and did a bit of sunbathing on the foredeck.  The temperature here is around 27 degrees during the day and 22 degrees at night.

Richard went for a swim and checked the anchor; the water is so clear that he could see the path of the anchor from the surface and was happy to see that the anchor was fully buried in the sand.

Late this afternoon we went off for a dinghy ride along the beach and popped over to say ‘Hello’ to Alyssa, a yacht that arrived today who we have seen in a number of marinas along the south coast of Portugal and Spain.  Anne and Dave invited us on board and we had a good catch up with them about the various places we have each visited over a G&T, which was lovely in the late afternoon sun.

On the way back we popped in to find out what Moonshadow had been up to all day and had a small glass of wine before coming back to Pyxis for showers and dinner.
