Today was another fine day with blue skies though still a little cool by our standards.

Around 11am Peter arrived with the rib boat and he and Richard went across to Puerto Sherry to check out the marina and the chandleries.  Peter found a Yanmar dealer and was able to sort out some essential purchases and they were able to change the empty Gaz bottles for Pyxis and Moonshadow – this seemed to involve taking the rib boat to a local camp site and employing a wet landing on the beach next to it.

Carola and I spent the late morning and early afternoon wandering around Rota doing a different sort of shopping – we went to the local market, queued in the post office (very busy after the Easter holiday) and then hiked to the supermarket and back.

Tonight we enjoyed a BBQ on the pontoon as the sun went down.  So a somewhat late night again tonight. J
