Friday 7^th March – Alcoutim

It was a beautiful day, hot and sunny, and we were invited to lunch at a local restaurant with friends from a neighbouring boat along with their friends who each arrived by boat some years back and are now living here ashore.

There were 10 of us for lunch in the end.  We sat outside – looking out across the river enjoying the view.  It turned into quite a party – not finishing until evening.  But we had a lot of fun during the afternoon – even a sing song!
