Saturday 19th January – Vilamoura

We were up a little late this morning after a late night yesterday (and I was feeling a bit hung over).  The weather cheered us up – clear skies and even warmer than yesterday; in fact it has been quite a scorcher – a definite bikini day.

We enjoyed the sun for the rest of the morning, Richard finally getting around to finishing the book he has been reading for ages and me sorting out some Sudoku.

This afternoon Richard took down the spray hood which has become a little mildewed and I cleaned it whilst Richard cleaned and polished the deck around where it is fitted.

Once cleaned, we put it back up so that it could dry in the remaining heat of the day and then went for a cycle ride around to reception to pay our dues for the week.  Although quite close as the crow flies, the reception is the other side of the harbour entrance to us so it actually means touring round the whole resort; a good chance to see what is going on – it is actually quite busy here today.

This evening we think we will have a quieter night.
