Tuesday 15^th January – Vilamoura

A great day – the sun shone today, despite the cloud threatening angrily at times (it missed us though and went over Albufeira), and this afternoon there was a freshening breeze.   

I had a chance to get my remaining washing done and dried – excellent; the water tanks filled; the oven scrubbed; and the bread is still going well for lunch and dinner – will be making some more soon J.

It was a very productive day all round; Richard has mended the cockpit enclosure so that it is now totally OK (his sewing is getting better) and this afternoon he has wired in the sound system and DVD permanently so that they don’t need to be stowed when we are on passage – it looks a lot tidier too J.

This evening we have been testing the DVD – OK so far; the wind is starting to get up a bit though.
