Tuesday 13^th September – Messolonghi

Today we have carried on with jobs aboard.  Richard has pulled a muscle or trapped a nerve in his back so has been taking things a little more gently. 

We took the dinghy ashore and blew it up – we need to clean around Pyxis’ hull and then wash down the dinghy before stowing it.  Unfortunately the high pressure floor has deflated straight away and the sides have gone down slightly during the day so we will need to check out what the problem is.

This afternoon Richard has cleared the back cabin and changed the oil on the engine so it is left in clean oil over the winter.

Late afternoon we joined Electric Monk and Blue Elephant up at the Sunset Café for a beer before returning to Pyxis for dinner – salad again to keep the boat cool.
