Friday 9^th September – Messolonghi

Today we started on the washing mountain.  There are now three washing machines so the queue is no longer really long.  However, there is only so much space on deck for the wet washing to dry so we will have to spread it over a few days…

Richard then started tackling the large lazarette, baking in the afternoon heat, pulling everything out and then cleaning and tidying stuff away.  We managed to clear out more beach from when we had the strong winds blowing through Néa Klima on Skópelos.

I have tackled the forward heads which are looking much cleaner and smelling much fresher now.

This evening we managed to have dinner aboard before going for drinks on Blue Elephant along with Electric Monk and Russell.
