Tuesday 20^th November – Lagos

The rain continued in earnest over night and until this afternoon. 

With no inclination to go out and get soaked, we tidied up and cleaned the inside of Pyxis, then watched a DVD which was really quite nice for change.

This afternoon the rain finally stopped and the sun emerged and so we ventured out.  We found Peter and Carolla seated in front of one of the cafes and joined them for a coffee.  As the dark storm clouds gathered again overhead we headed back to Pyxis.

After dinner Stephen and Anne came round armed with scrabble and a dictionary.  It’s been a long time since we played and we really enjoyed it – Stephen was the eventual winner.

When they left, we watched another DVD whilst finishing off the bottle of wine and not realising how late it was.
