Monday 25th April – Messolonghi

This morning we had breakfast in the new cockpit enclosure and so we could see out of the windows and watch the world go by over our coffee.

Yesterday we packed the old cockpit enclosure away in its bag and today Richard spent the early afternoon sorting out the large lazarette so he could store it at the bottom out of the way as it won’t be needed for the rest of the season.  It was nostalgic to look through all our assorted jumble that we keep at the bottom ‘just in case’.

He then went on to service the forward heads (that means he fixed the loo – unfortunately a regular event in any liveaboards calendar).  After showers, we headed off for the Sunday BBQ that had been postponed from yesterday to this afternoon.

Although the sun has been out, the wind has got up since lunchtime and has been blowing F5-6 in the marina all afternoon and we are bouncing around in our berth with quite a bit in the chop on the water.  A little cold to be out but perfect sitting in the cockpit enclosure this evening.
