Tuesday 14th September – Messolonghi (Some beach and a swim)

After a quiet morning watching the boats being hauled out beside us, this afternoon we cycled down to the beach with Gavin.  It’s a long flat road down to the beach with the water either side and the mountains in distance – very scenic.

 

The beach was virtually empty – very different to our trips to the beach during August.  We enjoyed a swim and sunbathed in temperatures that were comfortable rather than oppressive.

 

When we got back Richard had another go at making curry.  This evening Kath and Gavin came round for a game of cribbage.
