Thursday 2^nd September – Messolonghi (Brrr)

At 5am this morning all was still but we woke up feeling really cold as the temperature had fallen to 20°C, brrr. 

It warmed up during the day however and I sat in the cockpit and finished splicing the two mooring ropes.  Richard cut them to size, whipped the ends and fitted them – we’ll see what my splicing looks like in a few days’ time before I do the next two.

The marina have been busy lifting boats all day and have now started putting boats on the newly created hard standing area.

Late afternoon we joined Russell for a cribbage game before coming back for dinner aboard.
