Tuesday 24^th August – Messolonghi (BBQ)

After Richard had repaired the latest puncture on the front tyre of his bike, we made a supermarket run this afternoon; it was a good time to go – the air-conditioned supermarket was wonderful in the heat of the day and, it being siesta time, there was no-one there so we had the place to ourselves – must remember for next time.

This evening Kath and Gavin from Blue Elephant came round for a BBQ.  We sat on the pontoon around the small cable drum that we have commandeered as a table and we had a sun-downer of G&T before igniting the Cobb.  After dinner we sat drinking and chatting until late – the boats around us are not occupied at the moment so we weren’t keeping anyone up except Lucky.
