Saturday 19^th June – Khania, Crete

Today Richard wandered off to the laundrette with his 4.5kg of bedding/ clothes as per the laundrettes instructions for their large machine but the guy claimed it was too much and would require two washing machines.  Not falling for this one, Richard came back and dug out our washing machine from the depths of the stern cabin and spent the day washing everything he could find on the boat. 

It was hot with a light breeze and so everything was drying quickly, and it gave him something to do (he said).  I tried to have a relaxing day but ended up putting the washing on the line and then, two minutes later, bringing it in again dry, and putting it away – it kept the production line going down below J.

This evening we went aboard the small French yacht alongside to join Claude for a sundowner as he leaves early tomorrow morning.
