On hook, close to Muros, NW Spain this morning after 7 days 19 hours sailed constantly into wind, initially close-reaching although mostly close-hauled when winds were at their strongest (maximum 35kn, mostly F4-F6). We were able to adjust our land-ho timely to morning dawn finally attaching our hook to dirt at around half eight this morning. Flogged clocks an hour forward to match local time and been to bed together for first time in over a week. Generator's now on, washing machine on and we're gonna take it easy for rest of the day - no visitors expected! Now it's time to eat and open the bottle of bubbly Sue brought out with her and enjoy our belated Wedding Anniversary as well our safe arrival (intact) after an interesting, enjoyable and somewhat testing 1,055NM ocean passage. Yippee!
