What a surprise to find more than two dozen yachts on hook in one bay, after two nights sailing where other vessels have been very scarce!
Water is about 25 C, air 28 C and lots of sunshine (again) in this part of the world. Rather pleasant so might spend coule days here and have a swim. We were able to sail until about 0230 this morning. The wind had reduced to less then 6kn and backed so it became almost impossible to keep sailing making > 3kn very broad-reaching so waited until Sue 'stirred' at 0230 before making the changes and running the donk for next 12 hours. Sue, in return let me sleep until I awoke at 0600. The longest snooze I've had whilst underway since we left Turkiye last year! Tonight promises to be settled so we should both sleep soundly (fingers crossed).
No wifi here so making good use of our SSB facility (again). Another whale spotted today, gracefully swimming but when it appeared to start heading towards us Sue was quick to say "No, No don't come too close!" Like me the whale did exactly as Sue commands and returned to its original course heading astern of us.
What a good days night were enjoying!
Love to family D & family H xxxxxxxx
