On hook for 0730. With 40NM or so still to go we were thinking our arrival would be some time later because we were getting typically 2kn surface current against us. Hence, even though we were doing 6.5kn through the water, we were loosing 2kn (and sometimes up to 3½kn) reducing our SOG to 4.5kn (and sometimes just 3kn). Three hours out the wind became favorable for us to make use of it and t'was lovely to get donk off when we did. Spanish Met forecasters were right because we saw up to 30kn wind when we got within spitting distance of Europa Point. We're saving going into Queensway Marina 'till tomorrow. Wanting to make some ZZZZZZZs now xxx
