Greetings. Ticketeeboo much like when we last saw her four weeks ago, save for the colonisation of water beasties now resident below our water line. This is gonna take some shifting, starting today!
Annie & Mike (s/y Kandeed) are on board for our our little eastwards passage across the Atlantic, although we have three weeks or so to enjoy the islands north of Antigua before we loose sight of land. We've had two nights in Jolly Harbour and one big shop in the local supermarket (a very big shop). All essential jobs done we were ready to slip lines and donk our way here, where we can enjoy relative quiet ambience and swim in clean 29ºC seawater. Very pleasant indeed.
Tomorrow we can decide whether to stay on hook here for second night or head N towards Barbuda. Either way I'll be needing to use SCUBA gear to ge prop cleaned soon as I can. The beasties have seized the gears and we're best knowing our folding prop is free rather than find it's inconveniently stuck when needed. We've also got a little sewing to complete on jib clew, something I knew about and planning to do soon as convenient.
Night night and love to Sue xxxx.
