On hook close to lovely sandy 'mostly nudes' beach. Quite nice really although a little more roly than would make this place ideal in these conditions. Nevertheless, we've got good weather and prospects of NW wind veering a little over next couple of days. We picked-out this place because it's only 12NM south of Puerto Calero, where we departed earlier this afternoon after topping-up with diesel fuel at €1.09/litre. Full tanks once again.
Much enjoyed Puerto Calera and visiting the island in our little hire car.
Since we have topped-up our internet SIM we now have good internet access throughout Canary Islands. Unfortunately Vodafone ES restrict access to skype so can't chat-away to Grandkiddies for time being.
Tomorrow morning we've got about 45NM towards Gran Tarajal, Fuerteventura. We'll likely go on hook in a nearby bay overnight, enter the harbour next day and as previous...... stay maybe 3 nights and see if we can pick-up another hire car to have ganda round the island.
Some of our friends are still 'harbour-bound' at Rabat because more then 2m sea-swell makes the entrance unsafe so the authorities close the entrance to yachties. Another of our friends, s/y Kinabalou are heading their and won't know if they can get in until close-by, in which case they may have to head 30NM further south towards Mohammeda.
