Here we are tied to land against a finger pontoon, again. No without a bit of fun in-between though. BNo sooner had I finished blog yesterday evening and just taken first sip of sundowner 'G&T' when we took a VHF call from local Police informing us we'd dropped our hook in a forbidden anchorage. These guys are very polite and said it is forbidden to anchor where we were and that we must move. When asked, they said they do not know why it is forbidden! Move on regardless so we ended-up an hour or so later on the east coast at Baia de Sao Lourenco, where we spent the night. Bit roly although rather pleasant surroundings and yes, we were the only yacht on the hook, which made being there equally good. This morning we brought the hook up and made our way to the only marina on Santa Maria, which is on the south coast, just 2½ hours on the donk. Like everywhere experienced in Azores thus far, the people here are very friendly. Now checked-in and ready to take it easy for next few days. We even have free wi-fi that works.
Nearly forgot....... caught another fish this morning. Also, pic' just taken here at Vila do Porto, Santa Maria.
