After couple of nights on Lefkas Town.quay it was time to move on this morning, with our new Rocna anchor on-board ready to fit. At about half five this morning some 'noisy lovers' were having a roadside tiff. Amusing as it was we didn't want to be awoken by them! I spent the next couple of hours nurturing my 3 week old cough (to Sue's not amusement) and later thought it was nine o'clock when only eight o'clock! Hence we were up relatively early and on our way in good time for the 10 o'clock bridge opening. Some three hours later we're on the hook in a delightful anchorage with plenty swinging room. Calm enough to allow us to deploy a temporary kedge to enable us to change our Delta anchor for our newly purchased Rocna, which is now successfully holding us to the seabed. Maybe from now on we will have more confidence in getting a grip first time we drop? When we had both anchors on the deck the difference in construction is significant and we are expecting significant improvement in performance of our hook. We'll see?
