Yet another lovely sail here. 24NM running with just poled-out genoa and 6NM close-hauled jib & well-reefed mainsl. This bay is on the French N side of the island, not that we dislike the Dutch in any way!
We're thinking of staying here overnight then departing just before sunset next day, Sunday 4th for an overnight sail towards the BVI. Which island in BVI we have yet to decide. This is a lovely anchorage, lots of yachts here and lots and lots of space. We're not as far in a most yet we have just 3.5m depth, over sand, and 40m chain out!
Nipped ashore this afternoon for recce. Most shops closed although able to top-up with some essentials. We also stopped for frozen yoghurts at 'Yogart' which was delicious and maybe even better than the average icecream? Ashore again this evening for a meal and again tomorrow for bar-wifi. It's a decent run in the RIB although good to take brief walk ashore.
Awaiting next email from My Lover who appears tickled-ping to have garden tractor back from menders. xxxxxxx
