The trampoline finally arrived, and we immediately set about installing
it. Attaching the corners was fairly easy, but after that we could not
believe that it would stretch to fit. It looked like Anastasia was wearing
a thong.
![]() ![]() The secret is to keep on halving the gaps down the sides, gradually pulling
in all the knots as you go. You will not get the trampoline fully
stretched until about half the knots are in place. Even wearing gloves you
are going to get blisters pulling in all the knots. Allow about 50%
wastage on the line you use for knotting. We used 150m of 6mm line just
for the knots.
![]() It looked good when it was finished though, and hardly depresses at all
when you walk on it.
