Hawksbill Cay, Exumas Land and Sea Park

The Exumas Land and Sea Park is one of our favourite places in the
Bahamas. Accessible only by boat, and without any habitation, it is
unlikely that you have to share a beach or trail with anyone else, even at this
time of year.
For this visit we have chosen to spend some time at Hawksbill Cay. It
doesn’t have any blue grottos or swimming pigs, just clear blue water and golden
sand beaches. (The tourist centre map shows a “Pirate Cave”, but that was
not worth a picture.)

![]() You charter a superyacht to get away from the riff-raff and then someone
parks right next to you and hangs out their laundry.
