Gloucester was just an overnight stop. It is a large bay with plenty
of room for anchoring. We did not have time to go ashore, although it is
supposed to ne a nice town with good facilities.
We had to be in Boston the next day so we left mid-morning despite the
persistence of some fairly thick fog. It was just a question of keeping a
close eye on the radar and honking the air horn at any persistent images.
Mostly this meant we were honking at lobster floats, but better to have the
radar over-sensitive than miss spotting a small fishing
boat.
