The anchorage in Les Saintes behind the sugarloaf is one of our favourites, with a nice breeze and decent snorkelling.  This time we also decided to take a walk up Le Chameau, the hill/mountain behind the anchorage.  The hike is along a paved road which is closed to vehicular traffic, so you can admire the scenery without having to watch your step all the time.  Paved or not, it is still quite a long way uphill!  Walking from the anchorage, it is about a two hour round trip, but well worth it for the spectacular views all around the island.
