We are just passing Menorca now

That thin strip of land in the background is Menorca.  We are currently at 39:55.00N 3:43.35E, in the channel between Menorca and Mallorca.

We had some good sailing last night, flying the Parasailor and averaging ten knots with a top speed of about sixteen when surfing down waves.
Unfortunately we only have eight knots of wind now so, while Anastasia is still managing to do six knots, we are getting pushed for time.  We are going to skip the day in Mallorca and spend an evening in Ibiza instead.  Hopefully the shops will still be open and I can get Andrea something "hippy chick" for her birthday.

Andrea has just made a chocolate cake in the bread machine and she is standing in the galley behind me making pieces accidentally fall out of the middle so she can eat them before we get a chance.  She says the bread machine is the best thing since sliced bread.

Bertie is a bit disgruntled because (a) he hasn't caught any fish yet, despite having two lines out for 24 hours and (b) he was looking forward to visiting Mallorca.
