In the past, whenever visiting the north end of Virgin Gorda, we have
always gone straight across North Sound to the Bitter End Yacht Club and Saba
Rock, where the anchoring is difficult and drinks are expensive.
Leverick Bay is a bit less protected, but has the advantage of a huge
anchorage area, happy hour in the bar, reasonably priced food (the hog roast is
good) and a short taxi ride up to the Hog Heaven bar overlooking the entire
North Sound.
