Cape May is another major East coast seaside resort.  It doesn’t have the casinos and glitz of Atlantic city, but it has better beaches and amusement parks.  You can find “Cape May diamonds” (wave polished quartz) on on of the beaches, so Andrea spent a day collecting more ballast to load down Anastasia.

 

There were flocks of birds on the beaches, including these black birds with huge beaks (Black Skimmers)

 

Obviously tiring work carrying that beak around everywhere

 

The mist made for some interesting visual effects, such as this boat sailing in the sky
