The sun is shining. The trades are blowing. The wind is a little brisk - 20 - 25 knots. But the anchor is berried in white sand and holding is good. (We also anchored here two years ago.) The water here is absolutely flat. The seas are breaking at the reefs. Between the islands we have a direct view, straight into the wind, over the reef, of the open ocean.
Around us are 10 other boats. Four of them just arrived while we had breakfast. French, US, Canada, British, and some unidentified ones. Catamarans and monohulls. The catamarans are closest to the beach.
Local time is 0900. We shall prepare the dinghy and go to the white beach on the little palm island a little over hundred meters in front of us, namely Banedup.
Breakfast was home baked bread and coffee and orange juice and egg. It was the first breakfast in this paradise. And after a month of many practical problems we feel that we deserve it.
