Today it is seven weeks till the start of the ARC. Seven weeks may sound like a lot of time. But it isn’t. Four of them we’ll be in Oslo. Three of them in Las Palmas. We think the boat is ready for the crossing, but the “infrastructure” at home shall be remotely operative. All necessary items packed. US visa are applied for, but interviews at the embassy are still ahead of us. Tickets for flights and the main excursions shall be booked, and also some critical marina berths. Some last minutes electronics. And so on. All the tiny things take time... Eva goes to work every day – long days. Bjørn some shorter days. Busy times, but we love it all.

 

We have agreed with Lars (see our crew page) to cross the Atlantic with us. We look forward to have him on board.

 

And we are looking forward to all of it: Six months away on “Tatt av vinden” in the sun. The mental preparation (wich we think is as important ar the practical issues) is almost on schedule.
