Still Curacao

Even if there is a lot of work to do on the boat, we also have some time
off. Below is the view from the hotel balcony. (We hope this will work, we have
not put pictures in the blog before...)
Just now we are waiting for others working on the boat. So we have some
spare time. We use that for writing this and reading the newspaper from back
home. Yesterday we had a day off. That was just lovely. We visited Willemstad
and toured the island by car. Close to the westermost point of the sland, we
visited an interesting restaurant where we intended to eat iguanas, but we only
had wahoo with shimps. This was the tipe of restuarant where the owner talks
through the menu, and you choose from what you remember. We shall post some new
pictures very soon.
Willemstad is the capital of Curacao, in fact the only town on the island.
It is divided in two parts, Punda and Otrobanda. Below is a picture taken from
Punda over to Otrobanda.
