It is always a good feeling sighting land. It is important to let it sink
in. All at the same time we saw Alegranza, Graciosa, Lanzarote and Roque
este. The sun is shining. The wind is down to 15 knots. We are running the
motor, both to get our batteries charged and to reach Marina Rubicon before
dark.

We have had no problems on this passage. But it has not been pleasant all
the way either. The state of the sea has been unpleasant, with wave systems
running in different directions and interfereing each other. Especially last
night. But when we approach land and our chosen marina, all nights at watch
are forgotten - except that we need a little extra sleep.

In marina Rubicon we will meet again with the people of Ohana. Seahawk is
behind us, and out of reach for vhf. We shall talk to them later in the
afternoon on SSB. I think they will go to La Graciosa. Aphrodite outperfrmed
us by more than 50 nM, and they are now in the marina in La Graciosa.

The four boats had contact on either vhf or ssb all the way. That was a
pleasant experience.

More when we are in the marina. There we also hope to be able to update our
website with photos and videos...
