We are fighting the tidal strea around Alderney, and later Cap de la Hague.
Probably the worst on our voyage. And we were not exactly lucky. We shall
have it against us for 6 hours. But then...

Last year we hit it right. Well you can't win 'em all. But the weather is
nice. Lighet wind, and the motor does its best.

There is so much floating seaweed here that it makes Sargasso look like a
desert...
