No sign of Nafea today. I gave him a call to make sure he hasn't forgotten me and he promises to come tomorrow morning. I finished re-wiring the wind instruments which now work fine- a rare success and one I wouldn't have perservered with but for the imposed downtime waiting for the mechanic. I also fixed the water pump that had been relegated to the stores after packing up so I now have a working spare again.

I wandered along to the Dinah Beach cruising association which I have been meaning to visit -it is just along the road from the marina and I found a surprisingly busy bar with food van serving fish meals.  They run races to Ambon in Indonesia and round the Tiwi islands races and have a busy social calendar. There is a notice board with boats and gear for sale and a couple of crew offered adds but nothing that looked very promising.
