No luck with the fishing-tried both a big new lure and one I fashioned from a lead weight and squid skirt. This time both came back on board unmolested. I have a theory that the lure snaffler was swimming underneath the boat causing the depth meter to jump about from time to time. It only took the lures when I was winding them back in. I haven't seen the depth guage move recently so perhaps it now has bad indigestion from too many lures and has gone to find some rennies.  My homemade lure has Sugru eyes. That could catch on! |
