Very quiet night with gentle motion- all crew well slept, and well fed with muesli for breakfast. Milk has run out but yoghurt still O.K and there are a couple of cans of evaporated milk for anyone who can abide it.
Dominic produced pancakes for supper filled with shredded cabbage and some dubious meat from the fridge and tinned mushrooms and peas with a very tasty sauce. Raised the bar again. My turn tonight with diminishing options for ingredients.
William and I sorted out the spinnaker on deck, taking out the twists in the snuffing line. Crew relieved to see it go back in its bag below deck.
No reply from the Marine biologists about the weed which is thicker than ever. The sheer mass of weed must compare with the entire amazon rain forest. Perhaps it is soaking up CO2 and saving the planet, but soon sailing will be impossible and we will be able to walk across. I wouldn't recommend this route for rowers.
