We have decided to let the
wind abate before plugging on with the engine. With 20Kn plus
against us we were using a lot of precious diesel to make slow
progress into the waves. So we've been
rolling and pitching in
much the same place all last night and today. Its bearable
just about and the forecast of lighter winds to come soon
keeps are spirits up.
With our new AIS device you
can try and find us on your screen by downloading an app.
Search for AIS apps -I think I had a free one but can't
remember what it is called. You can see all the ships on the
high seas but have to know where to look to find us
(somewhere north of Norfolk Island). It may tell you our
pathetic speed even.
