We holed up in Pike National Forest, 8 miles down a dirt track and only pitched up at Jackson Lake State Park on the Sunday. 2 people drowned here over the weekend, one a lady fishing where she had been told not to and the other a young girl, one of 4 on a jet ski that overturned; three surfaced and one did not. Sadly they were not wearing life jackets even though these are available to borrow.
Birds abound, but we have seen no other wildlife.
