What an amazing place. Much is good and a lot is bad, but to see the stunning architecture and much renovated/repaired old Cadillacs and Chevvys is very worthwhile.
The schools were celebrating National Children's Day, hence the hats, cakes and of course salsa dancing. The children absolutely loved it when their teachers started dancing.

The favourite activity of tourists seems to be being driven around town in a drop-top whilst smoking a big fat cigar. The cars come in many colours (though pink predominates) sizes and shapes. The streets always smell of petrol as car repairs take place everywhere.
