Tobago Cays
Salamander

Sailing more of the Grenadines, we travelled from
Mustique to Tobago Cays. Great short hops from island to island. We left early
morning and actually managed to sail off the mooring as there were no other
boats near us. The channels were rough and the currents pushed us 30-50 deg off
course, but a lovely sail. Arrived to anchor in gusts over force 7 and our first
day for months of heavy rain. Murray was sea-sick for the first time since
December - it was a tad lumpy. The locals huddled in their boats while waiting
for the deluges to pass - at least our boat now looks lovely and
clean!

Fabulous palm lined sandy beaches - turtles
numerous and friendly and lazy iguanas. The turtles are green ones, which means
you can stroke them without losing a finger.
Murray was adamant that these iguanas were
fighting, Caroline thought they were mating and to settle the disagreement,
insisted on a photographic finish.
(But you need to see the video too!)
