Yet more stunning wildlife viewing in the morning, but the afternoon's landingwas our only cancelled attempt with wind speeds a steady 40-60knots. We also saw our first icebergs – 1-3 miles long, tabular – humungous. The ship tried to reach the South Orkneys, but sea ice stood in our way so we changed course. beautiful but rough bay with glacier in the background yet another snooze special
