Day after day of no wind pass and the day
forecasted to have wind creeps closer. On the first day we were becalmed we had
just 5 juvenile gulls begging for food around the boat (fat chance!). After 6
days the line of gulls stretched out as far as the eye could see. You can tell
how slowly we are progressing as, embarassingly, the gulls paddle to keep up! We
can't even fish ourselves as these birds try to take the bait.
Now desparately wishing for fair winds (please join
in!)
